Q: Do these fit with a chainguard on and do you have to attach to frame at all or just the nut on the back wheel?

It just attachment to the nut of the back wheel. I'm very happy with this stabilisers, it's very good quality and makes bike very stable. My daughter is riding bike all the time with it and no any problems. Highly recommending.

Q: Do I need bolts for this stabilisers?

Its a while since i bought them but my recollection is they fit on the wheel nuts of the bicycle so you don't need any additional bolts/nuts

Q: I need stabilisers for a 16inch Bumper stuntrider (BMX Style) these would look fab as chunky like the wheels on the bike but are the pretty universal?

I think so but we are having trouble with the black rubber round the wheel as it keeps coming off
