Apply to clean dry skin, preferably after a shower. Apply evenly and generously 15 minutes before exposure to the sun, which will allow the product to bind with the skin and form a protective film against uva/uvb rays. When used correctly, one application is sufficient for all day protection. Warning: avoid contact with eyes. If contact does occur, wash with plenty of water. None of the Calypso Once A Day range contains parabens. Thanks for the question. **Q: What does it smell of? My lo hates the smell of coconut thanks** A: It doesn’t smell of coconut as I don’t like coconut either. I love this sun cream for my children **Q: How many stars UVA protection it gives? ( the mark should be at the back of the bottle** A: It now states 4* UVA on the box **Q: What is the uva star rating?** A: The UVA star rating system allows you to see the level of protection that each sunscreen offers from UVA rays. The sunscreens that offer the minimum level of protection have one star and those with the maximum have five stars. The UVA star rating demonstrates the percentage of UVA radiation that’s been absorbed by that particular sunscreen compared to UVB. Many consumers believe that the best sunscreen for them is the one with the highest UVA star rating. Most sunscreens in the UK feature a UVA symbol on their packaging but they are not available on all sunscreens. This is because they are a Boots initiative. Calypso sunscreens do not provide a UVA star rating but they have a UVA symbol circled on the packaging. This shows the customer that the product complies with EU recommendations. ## Frequently Bought Together - Calypso All School Day Long with SP40 - Linco Care Calypso Sun Lotion --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/48253089-calypso-all-school-day-long-sun-lotion-spf40-150-ml](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/48253089-calypso-all-school-day-long-sun-lotion-spf40-150-ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
