Its become a "can't live without" gadget in our kitchen. My teenage son uses it all the time for grilling burgers and for making melted cheese creations to his own recipes. I find it very quick and easy to use, its a handy gadget for all sorts of kitchen shortcuts. Would recommend it. Plates don't come off to clean but they do wipe clean easily, often just needing a quick run over with a paper towel and now and then a more thorough hot water and dish soap wipe down. Works beautifully, heats up fast, you can easily check how the food is cooking by having a quick peak without it affecting the cooking time, etc. Also very safe for older children to use.

Very pleased with this item, I've cooked a few things on it now, sausages, steak, vegetables, burgers and plates still look new, usually with burgers the plates are a mess and non stick coatings can come off but this cleans really easily.This saves me putting my oven on for small things and also will keep my oven clean as I will not be cooking sausages and burgers that spit fat around the inside of my oven, instead I will cook messy things on this.Great little item, very pleased with it and perfect small size, enough for 2 people, it would fit 2 slices of small loaf bread side by side quite comfortably. Can easy fit 2 burgers and onions on it.

I give this 4 stars because the product it's self is good it cooks toasties and pannis really well you can cook meats on it but the downside for cooking meats is its really messy to clean and I mean messy but overall it's a good sandwich press and my children love the pannis from it and I would recommend it but maybe not for cooking meats on unless your not fussed about a lot of greecey mess.

Bought this grill/toaster to replace a Cookworks one which lasted less than a year and then the non stick coating be an to come adrift. This unit is far better in virtually every respect, heats up faster and gets hotter, will toast bread without the need to butter the outside which is so much easier, it’s made my pop up toaster redundant. It’s great for filled Paninis and toasted sandwiches. I’ve not tried it with burgers or chicken yet but I’m sure it will cook pretty well anything. On full power it’s supposed to be 1500 watts but according to my smart meter energy monitor it’s more like 1800 watts, makes George Foreman grills seem puny in comparison, if it lasts well it will be a bonus, 5* recommendation for sure

This is a great item for the kitchen to do toasties, paninis, and I use ciabatta rolls as wel,l it is easy to clean. However; I did try grilling gammon steaks which were fine, a bit dry (I may have left them in too long tho) this was more difficult to clean, I imagine anything with fat in like burgers will prove the same.

Good little grill. Cooks burgers & steaks with good results. However, there is a couple of things that let this grill down. No timer, no indication (either in the manual or on the unit) as to what the temperature is set to, when you turn the control dial & cleaning the grill is a pain. Also, the packaging it came in pretty much fell apart as I walked into the kitchen with it. Other than that, its a decent grill for the price.

Bought it few months ago and so far I absolutely love it! Here are some reasons why:1. The panini press heats up really fast!2. It's super easy to clean just few swipes with paper towel and it's clean!3. You don't have to butter the bread which is really handy4. It fits 2 big slices of bread5. Looks good6. DurableIn general, this would be great in anyone's kitchen and I definitely would recommend it!

Really useful, quick to use and clean and grills anything very efficiently. Makes great sandwiches too
