The magnet still works great and strong but wasn't the main reason for me buying this.My previous purchase of a ring holder was awful and didn't stick to my phone at all. Purchased these to give it a try and by far it's a better quality. The magnetic ball holder works great in the car and even with my case on it holds in place very well doesn't move with the car motions. I'm now left with this annoying ring holder stuck to the back of my phone. I have tried many time to remove it, but the strength of the magnet and the sticky back makes this virtually impossible without damaging my phone.You've been warned.
