Other Car Phone Holders Most car phone holders have some kind of button that springs like a trap or just clamp onto your phone and you have to stretch it open to add or remove the phone. Some are loud, others the button breaks, or the phone wiggles out of the phone holder and falls. 2. AINOPE Phone Holder Once positioned properly this car phone holder makes no noticeable noise, and in the few years that I've had it, I've never had a phone fall out of it. You can keep it fairly loose until you position/angle it properly to view your phone, and then tighten it. 3. Cons A. Some car vents are not compatible with this B. This may be compatible with your car's vents, but depending on how old the car is/how heavy your phone is/if you roughly shove your phone into the holder, it may break your vent (never happened to me) C. The plastic Hook piece that holds the Ainope car vent holder on your car vent is very thin, and you want to be careful not to tighten it too much, or it will break, so only tighten it just enough - this is the greatest flaw of this device.
