I have two controllers and if they are both mounted and are at different levels of charge the one that is charged will stop being charged and the other will continue until full charge is achieved.Please note also that this charger works off mains supply - not the USB slot on your PS4. There is no alternative to use the USB supply either, you have to use the mains. **Q: Is this for v1 or v2 motion controllers, as both have diffent usb connections** A: The charging dock does not use usb to charge, but the small metal connectors on either side of the base. It is also a really nice stand for the controllers when not in use. The controllers fit comfortably into the dock with a little push and the charging time is reasonable.
