It does an excellent job, the oil tends to be solid in the jar so I just take out a little using a teaspoon, put it in the palm of my hand where it soon becomes liquid. I rub my palm together to spread the oil and then very lightly brush them over the dog's coat and brush it in. Any that is left on my hands I just rub into my hands. There has been a definite improvement in his coat, it tangles less easily and is in better condition and my hands are soft and smooth too.
