They aren’t particularly gentle being 4 and 2 (3 and 1 when they received them). **Q: Does this have a ce mark (certificate of conformity for europe) so i know it is safe** A: I bought as a gift so can not remember but they are good quality **Q: How do you use flash? Mine just change colour** A: If you keep pressing the button the motion changes. I think there is about 4/5 different flashing modes **Q: Are they heavy to hold?** A: No they are not heavy at all however they are useless.. So for that they are good, BUT they are not particularly toddler proof, and quite expensive for what they are. I find it they get hit, or hir a surface then the light goes off.
