Appearance of batteries you receive may vary. - NOTE: To avoid damage or undesired rapid discharge of the batteries, DO NOT MIX: non-rechargeable with rechargeable batteries; fully-charged with mid- to low-charged batteries; new with old batteries; different mAh capacities; different brands. - Ni-MH Battery Tips: Verify device compatibility with 1.2V Ni-MH batteries. Runtime may be shorter than 1.5V alkaline batteries. Check proper fit as Ni-MH batteries are slightly larger than alkaline batteries to comply with IEC standards. Replace all batteries simultaneously and consult the device manual for specific requirements. - Charger Tips: Use only Ni-MH specific chargers with independent charging channels and voltage monitoring to prevent overcharging or undercharging. Avoid timer-only chargers and never use chargers designed for other battery types (like NiZn or Li-ion), as this may cause damage or leakage. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Antenna Location | High power or continuous drain devices like game controllers, and more, toys, wireless devices | | Asin | B00HZV9TGS | | Battery Capacity | 2500 | | Battery Cell Type | NiMH | | Best Sellers Rank | 43 in Electronics & Photo (See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo) 2 in Rechargeable Household Batteries | | Brand Name | Amazon Basics | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (149,401) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00841710105124 | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 14 x 50 millimetres | | Item Weight | 28 g | | Manufacturer | Amazon | | Model Name | AA High-Capacity Rechargeable Batteries (4-Pack) Pre-charged | | Model Number | HR-3UTHA-AMZN (4P) | | Number Of Batteries | 4 AA batteries required. | | Reusability | Rechargeable | | Unit Count | 4.0 count | | Upc | 841710105124 | | Voltage | 1.2 Volts | ## Product Details - **Battery capacity:** 2500 - **Battery cell composition:** NiMH - **Brand:** Amazon Basics - **Number of batteries:** 4 AA batteries required. - **Recommended uses for product:** High power or continuous drain devices like game controllers, and more, toys, wireless devices ## Images ![4-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, 1.2V, Recharge up to 400x Times, Pre-Charged - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81beXRLFJ-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size Name, Style Name** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: These are listed by amazon as 2500 mah but the photos show 2400 mah. which is correct? thanks** A: On the AA batteries it clearly states 2400 mAh. Hope that helps. **Q: Would these be any good for rechargeable house phones?** A: If your phone takes AA than yes. **Q: When recharging what is the recommended charging current e.g 200mA or 500mA or 700mA ?** A: 200. The others charge faster, but overheat the batteries. This causes damage. If you are in a hurry, use 700 occasionally, but it is better to pre-charge a spare set, as the modern ones hold their charge for a long time: these and the Panasonic ones. The older sort used to go flat if you ready-charged them. **Q: Whats the warranty on these? 1 yr? or 5 yrs like the eneloops?** A: I have written conformation from Amazon that all Amazon Basics items come with a two year warranty. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap but not lacking *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 September 2026* Amazon excells again.Bought a charger and needed some batteries so went for these. They charge fast and last a decent amount of time. That's it really.Buy Amazon basics if you want cheap well made items. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good batteries *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 17 October 2026* Good rechargeable batteries. The batteries have been recharged a few times and are still going strong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Little Pricey but a Quality Battery Set *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 February 2026* The Amazon Basics 16 Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, have been a dependable choice for us so far.In terms of performance, they have done exactly what we need them to do. They arrived pre charged, charged up again without issue, and have successfully held their charge through repeated use. We have recharged them many times, and they continue to perform consistently. For everyday household devices like remotes, wireless accessories, and small electronics, they have been reliable and durable.Compared to many other well known brands, the pricing is better. Right now, this set works out to roughly 1 € per battery, which is not unreasonable for 2400 mAh rechargeables. I still feel they sit about 15 to 20 percent higher than they ideally should. Sustainable products often appeal to people who care about reducing waste, though the upfront cost can be a real barrier for many households. More competitive pricing would make it easier for families to justify switching from disposable batteries, even if the long term savings are clear.Build quality feels solid, and we have not experienced early failures or noticeable degradation beyond what you would normally expect over time. The 2400 mAh capacity is strong for higher drain devices, and they have handled regular use well.Overall, these are dependable rechargeable batteries that perform as advertised. With slightly sharper pricing, they would be an even stronger value. As it stands, I would still buy them again if needed. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics 4-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, Recharge up to 400x Times, Pre-Charged - Amazon Basics Battery Charger for Rechargeable AA and AAA NiMh Batteries – UK Plug, 4-Bay, Black - Amazon Basics 8-Pack Rechargeable AAA NiMH Batteries, 800 mAh, Recharge up to 1000x Times, Pre-Charged --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/48002302-4-pack-rechargeable-aa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries-2400-mah](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/48002302-4-pack-rechargeable-aa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries-2400-mah) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
