**Q: Does anyone know what is the maximum weight of an outboard motor the Excursion 5 can take?**
A: It is designed to take the Intex trolling motor (item number 68631).  The maximum recommended weight of a motor is 8.2kgs (18lbs).

**Q: Can anyone recommend a fair priced motor they have purchased?**
A: Have tried petrol motors with this boat and even 2.5hp was a little heavy, I think the electric motor that is often advertised with these looks like the best bet, it's just deciding where to store the battery on board.

**Q: Could this boat cop black berries stings? I have quite a lot where I take the boat down to the river and it'll definitely gonna encounter loads ofthem**
A: It’s a pretty thick skinned boat, I’ve run into a number of brambles and never had an issue.

**Q: Hi can you use this boat on seaside also does it have a carry handle**
A: This boat is great for near to the beach. I’ve been out about a mile on it on a calm day with one adult and 2 teenage children in it. 

There’s no proper handle as such but there are various places to grip it from.
