Bought to replace a standard 6 plug adapter that was a little overloaded with power, therefore the power surge cut off is an advantage. The usb ports are a great extra. I like the fact that there are eight plug points, divided in two sets of four, which have their own on/off button. There are four USB sockets which has its own off switch. I also like the fact that it is small which means it is discrete.
