The Katana is extremely light weight with a perfect balance. The blade comes full tang and unsharpened. This sword is perfect for practice of Iaito. [Dimensions] Overall Length: 39.75" Blade Length: 28.75" Handle Length: 10.75" [Blade] The blade of the sword has been constructed from Aluminum Alloy. An aesthetic hamon runs down the edge of the blade and a Bo-Hi rests at the top of the blade. The blade comes full tang, unsharpened with a rounded off edge. The balance of blade is perfect. [Saya] The Saya is constructed from wood with a high gloss black lacquer finish. A black cotton cord Sage-o has been wrapped around the wooden Kurigata. [Tsuka] The Fuchi is bright brass.
