It makes them uncomfortable enough to move so you can catch them and put them outside. Have sprayed under floor vents and potential entrances from outside. Have reduced giant spiders to nothing within 10 days. Before using this spray I had maybe four giant spiders in the house scurrying across the living room floor and kitchen ceiling each night. After spraying entrance zones inc doorways, wall vents and room corners, after a few days the spiders disappeared. I think for large spiders this spray is a huge deterrent rather than something that kills them. I personally do not like killing spiders and before this spray, I tried to remove each spider but this wasn’t effective. Highly recommend spray.
