When i bought it, I wasn't sure what to expect. It comes supplied in a metal tin and it has a plastic handle with the applicator on the end. You apply it to the strings on your instrument as if you were using a glue stick. Once you have applied it to your strings the idea is that you then wipe off the excess with the supplied cloth. The product itself is great for keeping your strings free of sweat. It also stops them rusting as quick and keeps them sounding bright. As well as the above its great when you are doing slides on the guitar and keeps the strings lubricated without being greasy. I use this on all my guitars, acoustic and electric and my ukulele after each practice and it does the job its supposed to, plus its a handy size to keep in your bag. My only advice with this is to use a different cloth to wipe your strings as the one supplied leaves lint behind hence the four star review. I have bought three of these without any problems and would recommend.
