It was for a relative. (At this point I will just add that I was concerned about ordering, after reading several comments about bits floating in the bottles. I went ahead with my order, trusting that it was a one-off or bad batch that was at fault, and not the result of a careless company. My order arrived the next day, and was flawless.) I hadn't tried zinc before, so I gave it a go. You have to take 10 drops with 12oz water. I took about 15 in half a cup of water. It tasted slightly metallic, neither nice nor hideous. The most remarkable thing was the effect it had on my lungs. I've never felt anything do that before. I could feel the weight of the zinc at the bottom of my lungs like an anchor. It lasted for a couple of minutes then faded away. It wasn't painful. It didn't restrict my breathing, or cause any discomfort whatsoever. I was just surprised at the sensation- usually when you take any medicine or supplement, it goes down and that's the end of it! But I could feel the zinc at the bottom of my lungs... it was strange. Anyways... after that I decided to research zinc and it's effect on the lungs. I was surprised at the amount of medical information supporting zinc's role in lung functions.
