The storyline probably had more chance to grow now all the characters are 'known' to the movie audience and this I think helped make the movie. I am a particular fan of Dave Bautista's Drax who is very witty and a good comic character. The effects/graphics are sensational- Baby Groot in particular is a highlight (how they get the sparkle in his eyes and the innocence is beyond me) and the soundtrack again is awesome. The concept is expanded upon in the second film and do very well. It retains the humour of the first film and takes it further. Open a bag of your favorite snack, sit back and enjoy.
