Designed to avoid damage from mixing battery types or charge levels. ## Features - Improved low self discharge - Improved high recovery type - High Capacity - Hundreds of Cycles - Excellent Over-discharge Performance - NOTE: To avoid damage or undesired rapid discharge of the batteries, DO NOT MIX: non-rechargeable with rechargeable batteries; fully-charged with mid- to low-charged batteries; new with old batteries; different mAh capacities; different brands - Ni-MH Battery Tips: Verify device compatibility with 1.2V Ni-MH batteries. Runtime may be shorter than 1.5V alkaline batteries. Check proper fit as Ni-MH batteries are slightly larger than alkaline batteries to comply with IEC standards. Replace all batteries simultaneously and consult the device manual for specific requirements. - Charger Tips: Use only Ni-MH specific chargers with independent charging channels and voltage monitoring to prevent overcharging or undercharging. Avoid timer-only chargers and never use chargers designed for other battery types (like NiZn or Li-ion), as this may cause damage or leakage. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HZV9WTM | | Antenna Location | High power or continuous drain devices like game controllers, wireless devices, toys, and more | | Battery Capacity | 2500 | | Battery Cell Type | NiMH | | Best Sellers Rank | 23 in Electronics & Photo ( See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo ) 2 in Rechargeable Household Batteries | | Brand Name | Amazon Basics | | Compatible Phone Models | 1pc | | Country of Origin | Malaysia | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (149,322) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00841710105131 | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 14 x 50 millimetres | | Item Weight | 0.06 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Amazon | | Model Name | AA | | Model Number | HR-3UTHA-AMZN (8P) | | Number of Batteries | 8 AA batteries required. | | Reusability | Rechargeable | | UPC | 840095888622 | | Unit Count | 8.0 count | | Voltage | 1.2 Volts | ## Product Details - **Battery capacity:** 2500 - **Battery cell composition:** NiMH - **Brand:** Amazon Basics - **Number of batteries:** 8 AA batteries required. - **Recommended uses for product:** High power or continuous drain devices like game controllers, wireless devices, toys, and more ## Images ![8-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, 1.2V, Recharge up to 400x Times, Pre-Charged - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615W+34GhKL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size Name, Style Name** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: These are listed by amazon as 2500 mah but the photos show 2400 mah. which is correct? thanks** A: Without putting them on a multimeter, I'm not sure. But what I can tell you is they work far better than any of the main brand ones of equivalent power. They aren't usually that accurate anyway, so 2400~2600 or thereabouts. **Q: Would these be any good for rechargeable house phones?** A: If your phone takes AA than yes. **Q: When recharging what is the recommended charging current e.g 200mA or 500mA or 700mA ?** A: 200. The others charge faster, but overheat the batteries. This causes damage. If you are in a hurry, use 700 occasionally, but it is better to pre-charge a spare set, as the modern ones hold their charge for a long time: these and the Panasonic ones. The older sort used to go flat if you ready-charged them. **Q: Whats the warranty on these? 1 yr? or 5 yrs like the eneloops?** A: I have written conformation from Amazon that all Amazon Basics items come with a two year warranty. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, Pre-Charged, Recharge up to 400x, 8-Pack - Amazon Basics Rechargeable AAA Batteries, 8-Pack, 800 mAh, NiMH Performance Batteries, Recharge up to 1000x Times, Pre-Charged - Amazon Basics Rechargeable Battery Charger for AA & AAA Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) Batteries with USB Charging Port, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/47936879-8-pack-rechargeable-aa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries-2400-mah](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/47936879-8-pack-rechargeable-aa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries-2400-mah) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
