Review: A lot of leather crafting stuff is a bit cheap and frankly a bit crap that you can't use it and give up thinking it's you doing something wrong. These are the ones worth buying and paying the extra for. The grip is good the punch is clean and as a extra tip cover your paper stencil in dry candle wax and tape to your work piece. The punch won't get stuck when you pull it out. (Try it and you're welcome)

A lot of leather crafting stuff is a bit cheap and frankly a bit crap that you can't use it and give up thinking it's you doing something wrong. These are outstanding punches. They're very sharp right of the box. These are not sharp at all. even after hitting them 3 or 4 times you can see they never punched through the pretty lightweight 4-5oz leather. I even loaded them into my hand press to see if they would do it that way and still nothing. after looking at them more closely you can see they're just blunt round holes and not sharpened at all. I recommend going elsewhere for these.
