They also come up every year. Daffodils get better and better. With tulips after about 3 years you are better getting new ones. **Q: Would these be ok as a Christmas present to plant in early spring or is that too late????** A: Tulips don't mind being planted in January, but crocus and narcissi may not flower until the following year if you put them in any time after November. Snowdrops and aconites prefer to be planted after they finish flowering, generally in early March.
