It is well known for its quality and pleasant aroma and is suitable for use on both antique and modern furniture items. It will enhance the natural beauty of wood, whilst also protecting it against dryness and everyday usage.PREPARATIONRemove old waxes and dirt with Libéron Wax and Polish Remover if necessary. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust.APPLICATIONApply a coat of Libéron Wax Polish Black Bison sparingly with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth on a delicate (i.e., French-polished) surface or with Libéron Ultrafine Steel Wool (grade 0000) when a deeper penetration is required. Allow to dry for 20 minutes, or until touch dry, and then buff with a clean cotton cloth or Libéron Furniture Brush for a better finish. Repeat the operation on new or very dry wood as it may require two or more coats.ADVICENot suitable for humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. Wood needs extra care in centrally heated homes so regular use of a quality wax polish is essential. This definitely does the job. The shine of the final polish is dependent on the finish on the wood. If it has been French Polished, this will bring out an incredible shine with a little bit of work. The same applies to traditional English finishes but also modern varnishes. You won't get the full benefit of a wax polish on varnish because it will not feed the wood underneath, (there are cheaper alternatives if you are polishing modern varnished wood). Review: Good stuff. - I love the smell and really miss it from my old job as a cabinetmaker. Thise days were the best. This wax covered well, and gave a nice sheen that only a wax can give. It was nice and dark, actually a lot darker than was on the tin, but that was a relief because when the tin came I looked at the sample on the sticker and it looked too light, so in the end it all worked out as expected. I got it to put into my hobby room for model building and it is ideal for that. Easy to put together instruction good but could do with some larger illustrations. The draws are deeper than I expected and nicely lined. The bench is very sturdy without being overly large. The only downs we're one piece had a break on it but it was easy to fix and not a major problem and the wooden pegs a way to small .
