I have it installed in my garage and it turns on very easily when there is movement outside the garage, on the street. Yet, when I am inside, it turns off every time I am there, even though I move around. Also, I am a painter, so its not like I am jumping around in the garage. Sometimes my movements are not very bold, but the light turns off all the time, and it is so very irritating, that I have it unplugged now. I used to have to be waving my arms in the air, to bring it back on, and that would not even be enough, I had to get up from my chair and do it a little more to the side. It is IMPOSSIBLE to try to get anything done with this light, if it needs to be awaken every 30 secs, and make me go out of my way to do so. I understand that there are some settings that can be adjusted, but I cant take it off myself, not sure how to access those settings. I would have loved it if it had a simple switch somewhere that I could see, and turn off the motion sensor. But there is no such switch that I can see anywhere.But the worst of all, about this light, IT SLOWS DOWN my wifi! I had no idea it was this light! I went and bought a new router, even though mine was only a year old. Bought a very expensive one, because the cable company told me that would solve the problem. It didnt solve anything. Only when I called the cable guy, he saw the light and he immediately told me those motion sensors interfere with the wifi! Then I saw here other reviews saying the same thing. Bingo. So now I have just unplug it and I cant use it. Too much hassle and high maintenance for my taste. I do not recommend this at all. They didn't think about something as simple as a visible on/off switch?? ### ⭐⭐ Too Sensitive Motion Sensor, Not Compatible with 5G Wireless Network *by J***D on September 7, 2017* The Good:The installation was very easy and the overall unit is a lot lighter than the fluorescent ballast it replaced.The brightness is great.Motion activated to turn on is great as is the ability to turn off after a set amount of time there isn't any motion.The Bad:Even on the lowest setting, the motion sensor is very sensitive. Once I got within about 15 feet of the unit it would turn on, even at the lowest setting.When plugged in, the unit put off a frequency (or something) that completely killed my 5GHz wireless network. I tried different channels on the wireless router, but as long as the light was plugged in (about 20 feet from the router), the 5G band was unusable. I unplugged the light, connected and started a bandwidth test, plugged the light back in, and observed the signal drop to zero.
