Replacing a 50 year old roaster but it's still here if I need back up. More suited for chicken roasting if you ask me but I'll try it with the turkey. A tad thin for my liking.

This roaster is not ideal for a 20lb turkey. I read the description and based on the size it sounded like the right fit. This roster is pretty narrow and the lid is not tall enough to cover the turkey. In addition after I had already washed the roaster, and saw that it was of no use to me, I began to clean it down, and as I was cleaning it some kind of silver/black coding/residue came off the sides of roaster. This is scary...I don't even want to begin to imagine what was going to seep into the Turkey if I would have tried to cook it. Scary and very disappointed!
