I can stand on the floor and reach the uppermost part of the apex of my vault to get the spiderwebs and dust down from there and everywhere below that. I used the flexible head in multiple positions to clean the tops of the beams, the ceiling fans, the angled ceiling boards, and the walls all the way down to the baseboards. And I never had to step on a ladder! The only (minor) problem I had was the head did begin to unscrew from the pole sometimes. I think that may be a user issue, since I am left handed and probably move it "backwards" from other people. It was easy to tighten it back, so not a big problem. I love the bend-ability of the tool but bend it holding the tool as a previous review stated. I was able to clean my fan blades and the surrounding casing,, but the fan was difficult to hold completely still as I was cleaning. It might be helpful to have something to hold the fan blades still as you clean each one especially when trying to do the edges of the blades. The microfiber cover washes beautifully. The down side is that the tool can unwind off the pole as pressure is applied to the tool head when cleaning.
