## Overview

The GM Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Reset is a compact and efficient tool designed for GM vehicles (Chevy, Buick, GMC, Opel, Cadillac) from 2006-2018. ## Description

In which situation can this tool Apply ?Had new TPMS sensors installed ,letting air out or adding air to the tire couldn’t make the system recognize the new sensorsDo tire rotation ,did’t have an quick and easy way to let the ECU relearn the new tire information Instruction reference: 1—Set the vehicle into TPMS re-learn mode. (Usually vehicle will horn twice) 2—Start from left-front tire, hold unit next to Valve and Press White Button, the horn beeps once. 3—Repeat to reset TPMS one by one: front-right, rear-right, rear-left tire. Place the antenna of the device to a right position Hold the antenna against the sidewall of the tire, near the valve stem to read sensor information, it won’t work if on an inappropriate position. Note1.Since there is no /off switch , suggest to put the battery out after Usage to save battery 2.The item comes without battery inside, all you need is to find a 9 volt battery.

Review: Works like a charm - Item arrived on time. I have a 2016 Chevy Trax and recently I installed some aftermarket rims so I transferred the TPMS from the original rims to the new ones. After doing this you have to reset the TPMS for each wheel which costs a lot at the company. So I decided to get the relearn tool for my self and do it. The process is really simple. 1) Select the tire learn function from the dashboard, the horn will beep twice. 2) The indicator light will remain constantly on to indicate which wheel to do first (it’s the front left first for my vehicle) 3) Place the top of the relearn tool against the tire wall by the valve and press the button. It will blink green and the horn will beep once, when it’s set 4) Check indicator lights to see which wheel is next and repeat step 3 until the rest are completed And your done. Must admit I was skeptical about buying this but it was definitely worth it. FYI - It uses a 9v battery which isn’t included so you will need to purchase one.
Review: What you need to know with TPMS - First of all the device works as advertised and all of the ones sold on desertcart are the same with the EL-50448 marking and perhaps others. So, just find the best price and shipping requirements you need. The device only assigns the TPM for each tire, FR, FL, RR, RL. It does not calibrate, nor can you calibrate the TPM should your readings be a few pounds off from what ever gauge you are using. But my 2016 Tahoe showed 28psi when it had 37psi and triggered an alert warning light. I used the device to reset the system and the display immediately returned to the correct value. Saved me a trip to the dealer. Well worth the money and works as advertised.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tip if you have large wheels
*by A***Z on July 11, 2019*

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe and I changed my 22 inch wheels to 24 inch. I was able to get the vehicle in learning mode by turning the key to the on position and holding the lock and unlock button on the keyfob down at the same time. On most wheels you hold the tool to the sidewall, press the button (press once, don't hold the button) and the horn beeps. I couldn't get it to work with these larger wheels. I found out that I had to reach around and hold the tool on the INSIDE wall of the tire due to the way the sensors are positioned inside these larger wheels. It worked like a charm. Took less than a minute to do all four wheels once i figured this out.
