Great set! Sharp, durable, reliable and handle well. Well made and priced and the carrying case is great. Only complaint is one of the knives broke immediately at the base next to the handle. ### ⭐⭐⭐ The Steel that Makes the Blade

What I liked was the quality of the steel used in the knife and its holding of an edge. My dislikes were the wood used in the handle, which needed some fine sanding/steel wool to get the roughness out. The knife tends to “flex” as you are using it. That “flex” can be used to vary the size or shape of the spoon or whatever. If you’re new to carving, it can be a pain in the @$$ ! I used a ceramic round sharpening tool to go around the blade at an angle and then straight up and down on the inside of the loop to finish the honing, and that seemed to work well.
