There’s a version that’s battery powered that you can purchase **Q: Does this have a uk electric plug** A: It does. We plugged it into our UK plug and it works. It will also remember the tune you set it too if you need to unplug the base say for hovering. Once you plug it back in, it’ll ring the standard “doorbell tone” to let you know it’s plugged in again but it’ll remember all the settings. I highly recommend this and it’s good there are 2 buttons. It’s also loud enough to hear upstairs and downstairs. Very easy to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it's meant to, but with Del Boy style door bell sounds ! *by M***O on 25 March 2026* I hate to give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star but the alerter tunes are so damn aweful it really does make me wonder what they were thinking. At one point, it remided me of an episode of Only Fools & Horses when Del Boy was punting a load of dodgy door bells and the tunes were various National Anthems. I mean, there is simple bing bong sound which is suitable but I can't imagine using any of the other sounds, but to be fair, it does what it says it does, it's just the sounds let it down tbh. Take care when first plugging it in, it's on the loudest setting and horrific. If you're deaf, bonus, if you have neighbours, expect them to move.
