If you want coverage, while allowing air to pass, and at the same time need almost 60% of exposure, then these raw rolls are for you. We use the most durable HDPE High Density Polyethylene material which can withstand extreme low or high temperatures. These shade clothes have been working well over my garden. I cut them in fourths to custom them just a little bit and then I put them up temporarily for the Arizona summer heat and then I take them down for the cooler months. They didn’t fray when i cut them and they give great coverage.

The size was a perfect fit for my 4x8 ft raised beds and very light. Just enough overhang on all sides to help with the sun angle as well as overhead. Plants were obviously lessed stressed by the intense sun within 30 minutes. Only issue is my metal clips distort, somewhat damage the plastic fabric.
