Rugged design, Much longer chain-life than for a gas-powered saw. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good saw, bad chain and bar. *by D***S on March 22, 2026* After having this saw for 1 year and doing mild yard maintenance with it, I fell comfortable writing a review. The saw preformed as one should and seems to be built well enough to handle most small tree trimming tasks. Ive had 3 electric chainsaws and this one has been my favorite. I like it better than the Milwaukee that I had. The battery is a bit heavy and is slow to charge but lasts long enough for most of the yard work I do. The only complaint that I have is the bar and chain that are supplied with it are not made well enough to stand up to cutting. Go ahead and purchase an Oregon 16” bar and chain combo. The Cat chain is made of metal thats too soft and the roller portion will burr easily leading to multiple kick backs and eventually jamming till it kicks the chain. Switching to the Oregon bar solves this immediately.
