Those who have experienced our other products can tell Harriet’s quality.

It’s unfortunate the manufacturer couldn’t afford stainless steel screws and decided to go with regular screws. I only had this for a month.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than similar look alikes

I've used a number of similar looking (if not identical looking) kettles. Honestly, you get what you pay for. The other kettles were substantially lighter in overall weight, like cheap aluminum pots. This Harriet kettle has a much thicker bottom plate and thicker body. No comparison to the the 20-30 dollar similar looking kettles. Perfect kettle for my V60 pour overs, heated on my Natural Gas stove. No problem with handle heat - providing you keep flame from 'over licking' the kettle base. Unfortunately, the thermometer doesn't match the quality of the rest if the kettle - and I can see - that this will the first part to fail (either by breaking off or just will just stop providing readings - just like the other similar looking kettles - which use the exact same crappy thermometer). No replacement thermometers available (that I can find). Stainless mirror finish will slightly discolor over time - particularly if you overboil and/or leave kettle unattended. But still a great kettle for the price - and would purchase it again - when needed.
