I have a very high bed and a very short dog. He kept jumping up and missing the mark and falling down. I was so afraid he'd hurt himself I bough this and put his cage on one side of my bed to rest the top of ramp on. It took some practice (and I bunch of treats) but he has stopped trying to jump now and goes up and down his ramp only. Also, I love that it folds up easily and is portable.
