When I came to remove them they had been put on by an airtool. I used the car supplied L-shaped wrench. The tool split. Luckily I was home and not the side of the highway. I ordered two in case one of the new ones broke. Most importantly I bought an X shaped wrench so the new lug wrench tool was not asymmetrically stressed. Worked perfectly. The new tools were heavier (thicker) and better made than the original one. Picked up the 'X' wrench for less than $10 at Harbor Freight. Do yourself a favor and carry it round in the trunk. And I have a spare. I only used it for the two rear tires, but i had no concern of it breaking/snapping. Something I did do was make sure I used a larger size socket to ensure the entire lock was secured. So to anyone who was worried about it breaking - those individuals probably don’t know how to properly use it lol. This product is more than fine. Update: I’ve used it for about 50+ lug nuts by now, still solid.
