In that regard it meets my expectations. My only complaint is that I must rotate the light each time I use it. I mounts on the handle that is used to lift the grill cover. In order to illuminate the grill it must be rotated down each time I lift the grill cover and then rotated up before closing the cover or the light will contact the hot grill body.
