Since I liked the Candyshell Grip so much this was a negative in my mind, and I almost ordered a Candyshell Grip for my new iPhone X instead of the Presidio.Glad I didn't. The Presidio is plenty grippy, and the area between the ridges has a matte finish, so will almost surely be less prone to scratches than the glossy, hard plastic of the Candyshell Grip. If that's important to you.But the Presidio also offers additional protection for the phone. It's been tested (and you can find YouTube videos to back this up) at drops of 10', which is kinda way up there. Watching an iPhone 7+ drop from 10' onto a concrete sidewalk without breaking, that's impressive. The Candyshell Grip does not offer as much protection. The YouTuber I watched who did the drop test did manage to break the phone in a 10' drop, so it's not a guarantee that your phone will survive this. The phone survived an edge hit, but broke on a subsequent drop when it hit nearly fully face-down (parallel to the ground). But hey, the fact that it survived ANY 10' drops onto concrete, I'm sold.Case fits perfectly, feels great, plenty grippy, Still slim enough to easily slip into pocket, and has a grippy raised bezel so you can lay the phone face-down on a desk or whatever and the phone doesn't slide around. And unlike my experience with Candyshell Grips, the back is dead flat (at least on mine), whereas the Candyshells didn't seems to sit flat when put down on their backs on a flat surface. All in all, great case, very pleased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super grippy and fun to hold *by ~***~ on December 2, 2024* I needed a grippy and easy to hold phone case. Otherwise I tend to drop them. This case fit the bill. The texture on the case is raised (rather than the new style with it indented). I got a black one. But I’ve had other colors. It fits snuggly on the phone and won’t fall off. It could be more durable, but usually lasts 2 years. I’m on my third for this phone (yes my phone is 6 years old now.). Highly recommend, worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great case, super grippy, all buttons work, has a nice ridge to protect screen when upside down *by T***Y on March 11, 2024* great case, super grippy, all buttons work, has a nice ridge to protect screen when upside down ## Frequently Bought Together - Speck Products Presidio Grip Case for iPhone XS/iPhone X, Black/Black - Speck iPhone 15 Case - Built for MagSafe, Drop Protection Grip – for iPhone 15 iPhone 14 & iPhone 13 - Scratch Resistant, Soft Touch, 6.1 Inch Phone Case - CandyShell Grip Black/Slate Grey - Ailun 3 Pack Screen Protector for iPhone 15 [6.1 inch] + 3 Pack Camera Lens Protector with Installation Frame,Case Friendly Tempered Glass Film,[9H Hardness] - HD [6 Pack] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/47122279-products-presidio-grip-case-for-iphone-xs-iphone-x-black](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/47122279-products-presidio-grip-case-for-iphone-xs-iphone-x-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
