The DMV Vented Scleral Cup is designed to provide a stable platform for inserting contact lenses that need to be filled with lens solution during insertion. This product has an air channel through the handle so it can be automatically released from the lens once the lens has been placed on the eye. Product is not to be used for removal of lenses. Do not use this product with diseased, injured or otherwise compromised eyes.

**Q: Do these work with contacts that have small diameter?**
A: I use them with very large diameter, but they would work well with small diameter contacts as well. They are the same size as others, but the hole at the bottom makes them easy to lineup since you have light showing up from bottom (as long as your finger isn't blocking the hole at the bottom). I have been very happy with this purchase.

**Q: Does the scleral lens tool come with the clear case?**
A: Yes,  I believe it did come with the case.

**Q: Is this for Soft contacts?**
A: Yes, it can be used for soft lenses or SynergEyes lenses which are soft lenses with a gas permeable (firm) lens in the center.

**Q: Does the rounded base to put the plunger in come with this order?**
A: No. Plunger only.
