**Q: What is the radius of the knob cutout for the trim plate?**
A: This item goes around a handle that has a 2 1/8" radius.

**Q: How does this work ?**
A: You attach it to the door to cover your exposed striker on an out swinging door. It covers the striker so no one can work the striker back into the handle and let themselves in your house.
