I usually start with a 6-1/2 and sometimes have to go down to a 6 depending on type of shoe...  this 6-1/2 fit fine... almost snug, but good.

They were too smal but also too high on my leg.  I was hoping for a shorter boot closer to my ankle.  They were very pretty though.
