Pure joy and delight to hold in hands, read, learn from it, make my own. It is rich and abundant in content and supplements, rooted and connected to the CCC. As per quality my Bible (Revised standard version, 2nd Catholic ed - Ignatius edition) is absolutely lovely, complete and correct, nothing missing or duplicated or damaged, arrived on time. The pages are thin as they are in other bibles so no issues there, the decorations are humble and tasteful, colours neutral pastels... just enough to inspire and lift the spirit but not to distract from precious words. The 2 Maccabees books are indeed the last ones in the Old testament but put there intentionally - the introduction contains an explanation why and speaks of Vulgate and history of Bibles - very interesting. It is not a colouring bible, although margins are wide enough to allow free drawing & writing, there is text that is pre-highlighted as those are key verses in the passages. I love the intro to each book and the Bible study plans (Rosary, Advent, Lent and Yearly one). Ladies, job well done! It wasn’t cheap and took a month to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The Bible is stunning, and I’m especially moved by how it’s tailored for women, with heartfelt messages celebrating God’s love for us. It brought me to tears, and I would definitely buy it again. If you’re even remotely considering it, I highly recommend making the purchase.

This is a lovely bible and one that should tick all the boxes. Unfortunately on closer inspection I noticed that from the book of Philippians right through to the end of the bible all the pages are jumbled in the wrong order with some books being completely missing. Unfortunately the return window is closed for me now - so I have spent £50 on a Bible that although pretty, is actually useless. This may have been a printing error with a small batch so I would thoroughly check yours if you purchase one - such a disappointment.
