I used the Wilton gum paste mix. Since the flake elements were so small and dainty, I expected there to be problems. I really didn't have that many. I used Pam cooking spray on the cutters themselves, and on the surface I worked on. I was pleasantly surprised that the flakes came out with all of the details pretty consistently.One of the cutters - the middle-sized one, kept getting jammed, but it was easy enough to un-jam it.
