But if you buy the packs it is like they are giving you a deal. So I prefer to buy the 8 packs. If it was just myself using it I would say that 1 bar last me about a month. But its two people using it. So it lasts us about 2 weeks. Do not leave the bar sitting in water. Make sure it is able to dry after using. Or else it will not last as long. But it does last longer than cold pressed natural soaps that I have tried before. I do however wish if Australian Botanical is reading this that they may consider please giving an option for a variety 8 pack that you could choose two scents or four scents. I love the handmade look and colors of the soaps so I got some to put in my guest rooms. She let us try a bar and I instantly fell in love! Like I said, the bars are HUGE, they smell divine, the lather is thick and they last a long time. I have been getting the variety pack as I can never choose which scent to get. It works out well as my husband usually takes the more manly scents while I use the others.
