These are affordable, work well and are packaged really nicely. Also, there are additional spaces in the case for more needles. I even got a follow up note from the sellers after purchasing. Highly recommend! *Needles pictured not all from this purchase* Review: Great for beginners - I bought this set for my daughter to learn to knit. She tried to learn on my metal needles and they were too slippery. The acrylic provides more friction with the yarn so she's not afraid of dropping stitches. The molds for the needles are pretty good, but there is a seam that runs the length of the needle that you can feel. The seam doesn't snag on the yarn, but the needles just are not completely smooth and round when you touch them. The bright colors and the cute case all make it more fun for her to keep knitting. The sizes are embossed at the top nub of the needles, so you can easily find the right size. For veteran knitters, this is probably not a good set as the friction is too high and slows you down when you need to push stitches down the needles. I've used metal, bamboo and plastic (Lion Brand) needles and can knit fairly fast with all of them because they are smoother and have less friction than acrylic. It would probably be fine for narrow projects, but gets frustrating for wider projects because of the "sticky" nature of acrylic. ## Features - ✅ Light, Durable, and Quiet: Made from high acrylic, KnitPal’s knitting needles are cute and strong, yet easy on the wrists and hands. They are also quiet without the clacking you get from metal knitting needles, allowing you to knit peacefully while other sleeping. - ✅ Best Starter Needles: With their bright, translucent colors and lightweight design, these plastic knitting needles are perfect for those who are new to knitting and kids. Bringing them on an airplane is no problem. These lightweight, brightly colored needles are easy to find in luggage (or in your knitting bag) making them easy and fun for travel. - ✅ Knit Multiple Projects/Pieces: The knitting needle set allows you to work on more than one project or multiple pieces of the same project (such as a sweater) with no problem!
