I might order another. *******************3-Year Update****************** So it has been 3 years since I purchased this set and I am amazed and extremely happy about my purchase. This set is so worth every penny and then some. My pots still look almost new and they still cook amazing. I have put them in the dishwasher a couple of times since I bought them and the handles have not cracked. I have never used them in the oven, I didn't even know that was an advertisement and it never even crossed my mind, so I can't speak on the results of that, but judging from other's reviews, I will be staying far away from that. There is some fading on the handles and the bottom of the pots I use the most are no longer solver and look brand new, but that is just normal wear and tear to me. I use these pots every meal and they are still holding up great. I have looked all over and cannot find another set like this. I usually don't use metal, but I was making a cheese sauce and the cheese did get stuck to the bottom of my pot, and I needed to use the pot right away for another dish, and I decided to use my metal pot scraper because I didn't have time to wait to soak it off, and it did not have one scratch. This prompted me to come and update my review, and to look for a smaller quart size pot like this. My only request is that this company make more sizes and possibly a Dutch oven that can actually withstand the heat. By the way, I still get compliments on this set when I have company over for dinner. I can't say enough about this set, and I will be purchasing more sets as gifts and another for myself just in case. As for the others that have experienced the black stuff on the bottom or cracked handles that were not used in the oven or dishwasher, they must have gotten defective sets, because I have never had any issues with mine. Review: Great product!!! - These ceramic granite stone cookware pots and frying pans cook/heat the food evenly, they sear and brown the food very well, and the surface is very much non-stick. Best of all, these pots are VERY EASY TO CLEAN 🧽 with minimal effort!!! Lastly, the modern design and bright yellow color also brings a touch of sophistication and a bright sunshiny look into my kitchen, which I love. Overall, great product with effective functionality and design. ## Features - This 8 piece ceramic cookware set includes 2 dutch oven pots, 1 casserole pot with lids and 2 angled frying pan skillets for an omelette or crepe, and can go directly from stovetop to table as serverware - This pot and pan set is made of a durable and non-toxic die-cast aluminum body with a nonstick ceramic coated surface that heats quickly and evenly and releases food easily with no scraping - Features bakelite ergonomic wood tone handles for easy tossing and turning and lids that have small gap between lid and body for mess free steam release and cooking - Each piece has an induction-compatible spiral bottom to work on gas, electric or halogen stove top (IMPORTANT: For induction, burner diameter should not exceed pan or pot diameter base. This is what I got back from support: Thank you for reaching out. To answer your question 1 & 2 ) Yes, it is lead free, non-toxic and BPA Free. 3) The nonstick interior is ceramic coating while the exterior is heat resistant enamel. **Q: Can these pots and pans cook in the oven** A: The item description says "Do NOT use in oven". Handles are made from bakelite which is plastic. From comments I've read some people bake in them, and plastic usually cracks and also releases phenol and formaldehyde fumes. It is safe for cook top. In fact most plastic pot/pan handles are still made from bakelite (black plastic handles). **Q: In what country it is manufactured?** A: China or Taiwan. **Q: how heavy are these pans?** A: They look heavier than they actually are. They are no heavier than any other pot/pan. In fact, they may be lighter than most. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Set *by T***I on April 12, 2018* This set was beautiful and great quality.
