It has very good support and is comfortable, though after some months of every day use, it starts to lose some of the comfort. I found that, after a number of months of daily wear, as the elastic starts to stretch out a bit (which is going to happen with any elastic-based brace like this) the additional plastic support rails started to dig in to my back/sides a little bit and irritate the skin, which is why I bought a new one. It's totally worth having those extra rails in their for the additional support they offer, so when the old one got worn i didn't hesitate to buy this same product again. Any of these braces can get uncomfortable after a period of heavy use.
