Moved into a house where the wood clothing bar was bowed in the middle due to no support..  The closet was built just to call it a bedroom and the mounting brackets at the hardware store were all too long to stabilize the rod.  Purchased these and they work like a dream.  Why the big hardware stores don't have these is beyond me.  Ended up buying a new closet rod and used these mounting brackets.  It's fantastic, I highly recommend these brackets for a number of mounting purposes but it's great for the closet.  Just be careful of the diameter of the clothing bar.  Thank you, clothing bar fixed and sturdy!!!

the BEST product on the market for stylish finish points to your curtain rod.... Especially if you are going modern or minimalist.  Not sure why Home Depot doesn't carry these brackets.  I almost live at Home Depot I'm there so much and they have no freaking clue what you are talking about when you describe these brackets to them.  They look at you like you have 3 heads!!
