**Q: Is this the updated shell ejecting version?**
A: Yes. This gun does it all but shoot. Pull slide back to rack a round. Pull it again and it will eject it. Can pull slide back and lock it in place. Safety works. Has 3 rnds to be loaded into mag. Mag ejection button works.

**Q: Does the slide lock work?**
A: Got it as a gift for my son.  He said it locks back

**Q: Whats the purpose if it doesn't shoot?**
A: It is a scale replica, not a gun.  For people that want to have it to look at.

I have a couple Goat Gun models, but this pistol is one of my favourites. It's really well designed with working grip safety and nearly identical field strip as the real steel. Hammer comes down a bit soft, but again, it's just a display piece and looks great on my computer desk. Very pleased.
