I’m powering some 5 volt DC devices from my solar generator which has 12 volt 30 amp DC output. This buck converter is working as expected with the desired 5 volt output. I have 100 watts of power draw going thru it with no issues. It’s not running hot, but I placed it on top off a small computer fan to keep airflow around it as a precaution. Great value and quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked perfectly for powering strings of LEDs

We used this on a FIRST Robotics Competition robot to power a string of LED lights for diagnostics and decoration. The existing power sources were limited to 2A at 5V so we used this to get up to 10A at 5V. It worked perfectly. I did not measure output volts so I can't comment on others observations about the 5V tolerance. Certainly in this case it was close enough and a great value for the money. I purchased a different brand and it failed very quickly. Highly recommend this one for durability.
