It came in the standard Milwaukee packaging, and the manufactured date was three months newer than the battery that came in the kit. Charged it up and used it yesterday putting up some new fence 2" x 4" and pickets, little over 500 screws, when I finished the battery charge was down halfway. The 2amp hour battery is nice and lightweight and has plenty of power for impact driver and drills, price is great and would buy again. Review: In original package - Shipping was supper fast. Item in original package. It works on Milwaukee charger and the charging is pretty quick. Just found date code. Looks like it was manufactured August 1st 2016. **Q: Is there a USB port in the battery?** A: No, I think they have a product that will give you that option . **Q: Can i travel on a plane with this battery?** A: I am certain these are within the limits of the FAA.
