**Q: Will the tape adhere to pvc vinyl, example above-ground swimming pool?**
A: Hello Molly,The XFasten Silicone Tape is a SELF-FUSING tape, which means that it only fuses with itself. Therefore, it should work fine if you adhere it to itself on a PVC vinyl. However, if you wish to adhere it on a flat surface where it can't fuse to itself by wrapping the whole device, then we would recommend our HVAC tape. It will stick to PVC Vinyl as well and it has good insulation and high-pressure resistance properties, so it should be ideal for an above-ground swimming pool. **Q: how does it compare with rescue tape brand?**
A: If rescue is what I've used previously, (sold at HD) then the only diff is is the stretch. This tape stretches 100% vs Rescue 300%. The 100 is enough and doesn't thin out as much.
