(Yes you will need a few other supplies but it would be unreasonable to expect this kit to include everything for the price.) I am trying with vinyl before attempting screen printing with emulsion anyway, so this is perfect for me to decide whether or not I like screen printing without spending a lot of money. the bags of glitter contain way more than I was expecting from the picture so that was a nice surprise! I am also surprised that the glitter is fine enough to mix with ink and go through the screen included in this kit. I assumed I'd need to get a screen with larger mesh but my very first attempt at screen printing a shirt (with glitter) turned out very successful and the only supplies I needed to purchase were this kit and some ink!

**Q: Can someone send better instructions?  The instructions with kit are very unclear for beginners**
A: This kit does not contain the essential items for silk screening, as I found out. Look on YouTube. You need a photo sensitive solution to make your stencil, a bright light, and ink. I find the ratings a little hard to believe, as there is no way that this is a complete kit. Look for more complete help and directions from Speedball and request a refund.

**Q: does it come with the emulsion?? how is the transparency film supposed to work without the emulsion to be exposed?**
A: This item not included emulsion , so you need to have extra preparation.

**Q: what are the Waterproof Transparency Films for?**
A: The transparency films was widely applied in screen printing, they can help you transfer the design you want

**Q: Are the gloves latex??**
A: They certainly feel like latex, but (as shown) they come in a plastic baggie with no further information, so I am not certain.

Great starter kit. (Yes you will need a few other supplies but it would be unreasonable to expect this kit to include everything for the price.) I am trying with vinyl before attempting screen printing with emulsion anyway, so this is perfect for me to decide whether or not I like screen printing without spending a lot of money. the bags of glitter contain way more than I was expecting from the picture so that was a nice surprise! I am also surprised that the glitter is fine enough to mix with ink and go through the screen included in this kit. I assumed I'd need to get a screen with larger mesh but my very first attempt at screen printing a shirt (with glitter) turned out very successful and the only supplies I needed to purchase were this kit and some ink!

Nice starter kit. The frames are not made of the highest quality wood. If you are looking to do a lot of printing you might want to buy the next level of quality.
