I've cut through 4x4s at 30 degrees and it didn't bog down or anything. The blade isn't huge, so it will only cut 3/4 of the way through a 4x4 and you'll have to go back over on the other side, but for anything else, I've ran into no issues. Very adjustable with pitch and depth. All the adjustment knobs stay well though usage, I haven't had any of them come loose. The brushless motor is seriously powerful—it can handle pretty much anything I throw at it, from plywood to 2x4s, without struggling. The 7-1/4 inch blade gives me a nice deep cut, and adjusting the bevel is super easy, especially with the detents at 22.5° and 45°—perfect for those angled cuts I need to make pretty often.One of my favorite things is how comfortable it feels. The grip is just right, so even after using it for a while, my wrist doesn’t feel strained. The LED light is a nice touch too, especially when I’m working in low light—it really helps me keep my cut line straight.The only downside? The ruler markings should be etched in color.
