I love this clay! - This clay is so easy to use and is beautiful for throwing on the wheel. I tried to use it for molds, and it is a little too wet for my liking, but the price is so right for 50# stoneware! I couldn't be happier with the quality and the customer service that corrected an error with my order super quickly! I am definitely ordering again and again! Edited to add, it also fires beautifully to Cone 6! I will be ordering more! Review: Great for throwing. Because it was pretty moist I had to dry it somewhat for handbuilding. - I primarily throw medium objects as well as two and three piece objects. This clay works well for me. It is very smooth, and fires to a nice white color. The glazes grab on to it very nicely. I want to reorder immediately, but for some reason it is no longer available. It was delivered in good shape by UPS. ## Features - Extremely versatile for your various art projects - Use for sculpture, hand modeling or potter's wheel - Decorate with paint and then seal with shellac for added strength - Essential for school, office, or home ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01M4HOR23 | | Age Range (Description) | All ages | | Age Range Description | All ages | | Best Sellers Rank | #185,908 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #714 in Pottery & Modeling Clays | | Brand | AMACO | | Brand Name | AMACO | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 50 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Creative Skill | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 11 x 8 inches | | Item Weight | 50 pounds | | Manufacturer | AMERICAN ART CLAY CO INC | | Manufacturer Part Number | 45045M | | Material | Clay | | Material Type | Clay | | Model Name | Amaco | | Model Number | 1442893 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Modeling | | UPC | 039672450455 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | NO WARRANTY | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** All ages - **Brand:** AMACO - **Color:** White - **Educational Objective:** Creative Skill - **Item Weight:** 50 pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 14 x 11 x 8 inches - **Material:** Clay - **Model Name:** Amaco - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Modeling ## Images ![AMACO A-Mix Stoneware Clay, No. 11, 50 Pounds, White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51R4U6BxMzL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW! Because it was pretty moist I had to dry it somewhat for handbuilding. *by C***O on August 10, 2020* I primarily throw medium objects as well as two and three piece objects. This clay works well for me. It is very smooth, and fires to a nice white color. The glazes grab on to it very nicely. I want to reorder immediately, but for some reason it is no longer available. It was delivered in good shape by UPS. ### ⭐ Dry clay *by L***G on August 2, 2024* This clay came with the bags wide open upon opening the box which made the clay dry and a nightmare to even attempt to throw with. I’d return if it wasn’t such a hassle. Will not purchase again. ## Frequently Bought Together - AMACO A-Mix Stoneware Clay, No. 11, 50 Pounds, White - Amaco Low Fire Terra Cotta 77 Earthenware Clay - Moist - 50 Lbs. - 50lb Best Mix- BMix - BMX - Mid Fire Cone 6 Pottery Clay - Rocky Mountain Clay --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/45369680-amaco-a-mix-stoneware-clay-no-11-50-pounds-white](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/45369680-amaco-a-mix-stoneware-clay-no-11-50-pounds-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
